Our first Christmas at our own home! One favorite tradition for both of our families was chopping down the Christmas tree. So the day after Thanksgiving we carried the tradition on in our family. It was a blast!

Not too bad for a Ponderosa pine (the only kind permitted to be cut). It smelled so great in our house!
Building the wall...Drew traced each of our hands and feet for the holds.
Making chocolate dipped pretzels...our favorite...Chinese style!!!
Alvin's favorite present..."Little Puppy Says Woof" book. We all ate cold cereal and real (not green) juice (a rare treat) in the living room while we opened presents!
The finished project. Drew is amazing! Alvin gets better at climbing up everyday!
